Stealth — Hiding Your Activities
Last updated: May 2026
Stealth is about maintaining a low profile and minimizing your exposure. The less visible you are, the less likely you are to attract attention.
Digital Stealth
- Use a separate device or USB for sensitive activities.
- Keep your activities contained within a secure OS (Tails/Whonix).
- Never save logs or history.
- Use encrypted messaging for all communications.
- Regularly clear browser data and cache.
Physical Stealth
- Maintain a normal routine — don't act suspiciously.
- Vary your patterns — don't visit the same places at the same times.
- Dress to blend in — avoid flashy or distinctive clothing.
- Be aware of surveillance cameras and avoid them when possible.
Operational Stealth
- Use pseudonyms and never reuse them across platforms.
- Use separate email addresses for different activities.
- Never discuss sensitive activities in public or unencrypted channels.
- Have a cover story for what you're doing.
Rule: If you can't explain what you're doing, you're not being stealthy enough.
