TorZon phishing spike after mirror rotation

When TorZon rotates mirrors after DDoS or maintenance, phishing operators move faster than most users. Within hours, Bing and Google ads reuse the phrase “torzon link” with near-identical branding. The onions differ by a few characters; the layout looks close enough that stressed users log in anyway.
What changed in this wave
Clone pages copied the login chrome and pushed urgency: “migration,” “verify wallet,” “temporary deposit address.” None of those prompts belong on a real TorZon login flow. Real hygiene is inverted on purpose — password first, verification “later.”
Procedure that still works
- Open onions only from a saved source such as the TorZon service page on this handbook.
- Compare the onion string character by character against your bookmark — do not retype from memory.
- Confirm the anti-phishing phrase before any password.
- If the page asks for a seed phrase or remote-access tool, leave immediately.

Paid results are not a verification channel. Exact-match domains can rank while being days old. Domain age is not trust. Procedure is.
