Clearnet hubs are maps, not login pages
July 8, 2026
Clearnet hubs redistribute .onion addresses when mirrors rotate. That is useful. Treating those hubs as markets is how accounts and coins disappear.
Correct use
- Open a trusted hub from a known list.
- Copy an onion for the market you already track.
- Paste it into Tor Browser.
- Confirm phrase / PGP on the onion — then log in.
Wrong use
Entering market usernames, passwords, 2FA codes, or deposit flows on a clearnet page labeled “official mirror.” If the page wants credentials, it is not a hub — it is an attack.
